Description of Research
The objective of the research is to predict the probability of failure of a submarine slope due to slump given a physics-based model, prior state of knowledge on the model parameters and experimental data on the in-situ undrained shear strength at failure. This is achieved through the probabilistic calibration of the infinite slope model using the Bayesian paradigm.
