Use of public information from Drillinginfo.com and Geological Information Systems, combined with Geostatistical analysis and Geophysical data allows the creation of models that simulate oil output from geological shale formations across Texas. Specifically, the formation of the Eagle Ford Shale in Southwest Texas has sufficient public data that can be analyzed and used for reservoir simulation and geological modeling.
