Texas A&M University’s Stochastic Geomechanics Laboratory (SGL) will host a strategic meeting tomorrow to present their work, ‘Risk Taskforce for the Regional Stability of Social, Economic, and Environmental Systems,’ at the Texas A&M University Bush School of Government & Public Servicein Washington DC.
SGL, led by Dr. Zenon Medina-Cetina, also an Associate Professor for Texas A&M University’s Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, will present the progress of two projects sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate (DHS-S&T), through its Partnerships’ University Program and hosted and managed by the Cross-Border and Supply Chain Defense, a DHS Center of Excellence at TAMU (CBTS-TAMU).
The first project is: ‘Bayesian Risk Modeling of U.S. Supply Chains in North America (Mexico-U.S.-Canada): From the Integration of Case Studies to the Formulation of a Best Practices Guideline’.
The second being: ‘Risk Taskforce for North America: Data-Lake System and Data-Management Workflow to Support Decision-Making of Supply Chains Across the United States, Mexico, and Canada’.
