Title of Research:
Climate Change Risk Assessment

Research description:
By tracking climate variables and monitoring the “pulse” of the Yucatán Peninsula, we hope to create a model to predict and better understand the environmental, social, and economic consequences of climate change. In order to accomplish this, it must be determined what climatic data is currently available and by what means measurements are being carried out. Data acquisition solutions are being explored for any variables that are presently unmonitored. Once there is sufficient data monitoring within the region, we can begin to generate climate change models.
