SGL Member’s work was presented at the Consortium for Education and Research in Geoengineering Practice (CERGEP) at Texas A&M University’s Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. SGL member Tam N. Duong, alongside current SGL researcher, Billy Hernawan, and the Director of SGL, Dr. Zenon Medina-Cetina, presented their work titled: Numerical Modeling of an Asteroid Impact on Earth: Matching Field Observations at the Chicxulub Crater Using the Distinct Element Method (DEM).
